Američki superstar Džoni Dep je na Mećavniku, na trećem Međunarodnom filmskom i muzičkom festivalu "Kustendorf" imao ulogu glavnog gosta. Doputovao je u društvu svog uvaženog domaćina Emira Kusturice, i već pri izlasku iz helikoptera uzviknuo: "Ovo je prekrasno! Fantastično!" Nakon obilaska Drvengrada, i razgledanja bioskopske dvorane "Prokleta avlija", po mnogima najmodernije na Balkanu, ugledni gost iz Amerike i takođe ugledni domaćin iz Srbije probali su srpske specijalitete. Novinar dnevnog crnogorskog lista Dan kaže da se čuveni "Pirat sa Kariba" posebno oduševio srpskim crvenim domaćim vinom, ali i pored svih pokušaja reporteri nisu uspeli da saznaju ko je proizvođač tog srpskog brenda. Pretpostavke reportera su da bi to vino moglo biti iz tek formiranog vinogorja u okolini Valjeva, gde je Kusturica proletos boravio na poziv tamošnjeg proizvođača.

Podrum Jelić otkriva da se radi o crvenom vinu Baby Mammoth Milijan Jelić 2006, Pinot Noir za koje je i Kusturica prilikom posete Podrumu, na proslavi "U čast loze od Valjeva" izjavio da je "potresno dobro vino", nastalo u delu Evrope "jedinstvenog govora tla i podneblja", gde je Milijan Jelić sam probudio ono što je decenijama bilo potisnuto i zaboravljeno.

"Pirate of the Caribbean" in love with Serbian wine!

Famous American actor Johnny Depp, on 12th January visited Mećavnik in the company of his respected host of Emir Kusturica. American superstar Johnny Depp, was on Mećavnik, at the third Inernational Film and Music Festival "Kustendorf". Depp was the special guest at this Festival. He arrived in the company of his respected host, Kusturica, and already at the exit from the helicopter he exclamed: " This is wonderful! Fantastic!"

After visiting Drvengrad, sightseeings and the cinema hall "Damn yard", which is according to many the most modern in the Balkans, distinguished guest from America and Kusturica tasted Serbian specialtes. A journalist from the Montenegrin daily newspaper "Dan" said that the famous "Pirate of the Caribbean" particularly was delighted with Serbian red wine, but despite of attempts of reporters to find out who was a winemaker of the Serbian brand, it was impossible.

The Jelić Wine Cellar revealded that it was a red wine Baby Mammoth Milijan Jelić 2006, Pinot Noir, which Kusturica tasted during the visit to the cellar, at the celebration "In honour of vines of Valjevo". For this wine Kusturica said:" This is distressing good wine, made in part of unique speech of terroir in Europe, where Milijan Jelić woke up something which has for decades been suppressed and forgotten."
